11st January Annual General Meeting The Jolly Coopers, Wardhedges, Beds

13th January Adult Panto
Jacqui has organised a vist to the Hitchin Adult Panto to see "Jack and his Giant Stalk" Friday 13th January for the 7.30pm performance. Tickets are £13.00 per person. There may be a spare place if you contact Jacqui. Email Jacqui or phone 01462 451025

21/21st January Annual Birthday Party Weekend The Dolphin Hotel St Ives
This is the last birthday party to be organised by Judi!! The Friday evening will be an Irish dinner while the theme for Saturdays party is formal with a touch of Purple and Red! The necessary paperwork can be dowloaded here, Party Letter, Party Invite and Irish Dinner

26th February Racing at Towcester
The first race is 2.30 and the last race is 5.00 pm. Entry to the races is free but the upgrade to the hospitality suite, in case of poor weather costs £25 per head. Food can be purchased at the suite, however, we are not sure what the catering will be this time although afternoon tea is more acceptable for this meeting as the racing starts later. 25th March Stondon Motor Museum, Bedford
Arrangements have been made for a group visit to this privately owned collection in Lower Stondon, Beds. Tickets are £5 per head (group rate) and includes tea/coffee on arrival. The visit will be in the morning followed by Sunday lunch at a nearby pub restaurant. Times to be confirmed. 15th April Spring Saunter
Philip Loring has organised a 2 hour scenic drive starting South of Gichin and ending at the Chequers, Fowlmere Nr Royson. Provisional date. Full details to follow

22nd April The 6th MK Classic Tour
The 6th MK Classic Tour wil again be starting at Frosts Garden Centre and via scenic runs go to Millbrook for the Alpine circuit, Prodrive at Banbury for coffee and finally onto the Porche driving experience at Silverstone. Book early for this excellent charity event to prevent dissapointment. The necessary paperwork can be dowloaded here, Letter, Invitation and Form

29th April Midland Car Trial
This will be held at Timber Hogger Lane, Bromsgrove. See Miscellany for further details

5th May Cranmog Golf Society
This will take place at Bedfordshire Golf Club, Spring Lane Stagsden MK43 8SR on the full 18 hole championship course round to commence from early afternoon. Cost: £25 per person depending on numbers on the course at the time, this can include a complimentary 9 holes on the "Academy Course" which is a stunning Par 3 (with 1 x Par 4) course commencing earlier at say 12 noon, or of course there is the 24 bay covered driving range you can warm up on Food & Drink is available at an additional cost. Vanessa suggests we go with the snack menu and then we can have these staggered if some are playing the 9 hole course first. There is a good bar /restaurant area in the Club House (offering at least 1 real ale for those who like such stuff). Vanessa Barham is the contact for this.

11-13th May The Tenth (and final)Mendips Weekend
Terry and Janet Wilson are again organising what will be last Mendips Weekend. This will be the tenth weekend they have arranged. This event always proves to be very popular so you may wish to book your place straight away. STOP PRESS The Lyncombe Lodge Hotel is now full rooms are still available at the Winston Manor Hotel. Cranmog Events for 2013



3/5thMay Constable Country Weekend
A weekend organised by Paul Dunningham to Suffolk. Staying at the Stoke by Nayland hotel where 50 rooms have been reserved (www.stokebynayland.com). Cost will be £180 per person (single supplement + £60) and will include two dinners and a lunch and bed and breakfast for the Friday and Saturday nights. Non returnable deposit of £5.00 per person to Paul (address in Cranmog contact details) and book hotel giving credit card details and quoting reservation "65447 CRANMOG". Hotel cancellation charge is only £10 so no reason not to book now. Weekend will include scenic runs through Constable Country and the wool towns and villages of Suffolk. They may even be a boat trip.
